Challenge Journal of Structural Mechanics

cjsmec.challengejournal.com

Challenge Journal of Structural Mechanics is an international, quarterly published and open access scholarly journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles, case studies, short communications, discussions, book reviews, letters to the editor and a diary on international events related to any aspect of structural engineering.

Primary aim of CJSMEC is to encourage academic challenges in structural mechanics and materials disciplines to seek for the global truth. Therefore, the Journal intends to publish at least a review or discussion as a challenge to previously published papers at each issue. A double blind peer-review policy is followed in order to increase the scientific quality of the published papers.

DOI Assignment

TULPAR Academic Publishing has completed the agreement with Crossref. DOIs have been assigned to the published articles in Challenge Journal of Structural Mechanics and future articles will be published directly with their DOIs.

Furthermore, more journals are incoming within our publishing group. We kindly ask you to recommend Challenge Journals to your colleagues and encourage them to submit their high quality papers to the journals.

Scope of CJSMEC

Contributions may range from new methods to novel applications of existing methods to gain understanding of the structural based mechanical behavior of new and advanced engineering systems.

IMSEC2016: 1st International Mediterranean Science and Engineering Congress

International Mediterranean Science and Engineering Congress (IMSEC 2016) will be held at Çukurova University, Congress Center in Adana, TURKEY during October 26-28, 2016. Since you are the prominent expert in the relevant field of Science and Engineering, your unique and inspirational message will highlight the congress. IMSEC 2016 provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the current research findings and describe emerging technologies, and directions in Sciences and Engineering issues.

Papers presented in IMSEC 2016, which are focused on structural mechanics studies, will be considered for publication in Challenge Journal of Structural Mechanics. Authors may submit their full length papers via online submission system or send to cjsmec@challengejournal.com via e-mail. Regarding to the count and the diversity of the studies, papers will be published in a special issue or in the regular issues in an appropriate calendar.

ICF14: 14th International Congress on Fracture

14th International Congress on Fracture (ICF14) to be held in the island of Rhodes, Greece, May 7-12, 2017. ICF is organized under the auspices of the International Congress on Fracture - The World Academy of Structural Integrity (ICF-WASI). ICF14 will focus in all aspects of structural integrity with the objective of improving the safety and performance of engineering structures, components, systems and their associated materials. ICF14 will include two main tracks devoted to failure analysis of engineering materials and structures, and nanomaterials and nanostructures (MEMS and NEMS). Other topics include failure of biological and geotechnical materials, earthquakes and electronic packaging. ICF14 will comprise of invited lectures by eminent academics from around the world together with contributed oral and poster presentations covering all aspect of fracture and fatigue. During the conference special symposia covering major areas of research activity organized by members of the Scientific Advisory Board will take place.

Papers presented in ICF14 which are focused on structural mechanics studies, will be considered for publication in Challenge Journal of Structural Mechanics. Authors may submit their full length papers via online submission system or send to cjsmec@challengejournal.com via e-mail. Regarding to the count and the diversity of the studies, papers will be published in a special issue or in the regular issues in an appropriate calendar.
